Woodrow 2024 Summer Enrichment Camp

Scheduled Attendance: Full Time: Monday through Friday

Camp Hours: 9:00 am to 3:00 pm 

 

The cost is $300 per week - 50% due upon registration (nonrefundable) with balance due two weeks prior to the start of camp.

Child’s enrollment packet has to be complete and turned in before your child can attend.

  • WEEK 1 - Sports and Fitness
    Sports and Fitness Week • June 3 - June 7 We invite your preschooler to meet a surprise guest as we introduce them to soccer, golf, basketball, and baseball foundations. They can test their skills on an obstacle course and learning the importance of patience, teamwork, and self-confidence. This camp includes an introduction to bike safety.   • WEEK 2 - Exploring the Outdoors and Caring for Our Earth
    Exploring the Outdoors and Caring for Our Earth Week • June 10 - June 14 Preschoolers will learn about different wildlife in NW Ohio, basic gardening, and how to care for their plants. They will also learn about the importance of recycling and living in harmony with the animals and insects. Campers will get to invite a special person to explore the outdoors with them as we celebrate Father’s Day. Our Partners: Metro Parks of Toledo and Keep Toledo-Lucas County Beautiful
  • WEEK 3 - Old McDonald
    Old McDonald Week E-I-E-I-O • June 17 - June 21 Preschoolers will learn to identify different animals and their purpose on the farm. They will be able to see each farm animal‘s contribution through fun, hands-on activities. Preschoolers will also take a pony ride, pet goats, sheep, and rabbits, and feed various farm animals.   • WEEK 4 - Amazing Zoo Animals
    Amazing Zoo Animals Week • June 24 - June 28 Preschoolers will explore the fascinating world of Toledo Zoo animals. They will learn about different animal behaviors while engaging in fun, hands-on activities. This camp is an excellent opportunity to learn about nature and wildlife in a safe and interactive environment. Our Partners: Toledo Zoo
  • WEEK 5 - The Exciting World of Science
    The Exciting World of Science Week • July 8 - July 12 Our science camp is a unique and exciting opportunity for students to explore the world of STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Math) through hands-on learning and experimentation. The children will build volcanoes, make slime, learn about constellations, and do other fun scientific activities.
  • WEEK 6 - Painting & Playing Music
    Painting & Playing Music Week • July 15 - July 19 At this innovative camp, your preschooler can engage their creative side and express themselves through fun, diverse art projects and musical instruments. We’ve also invited a few surprise guests who will introduce everyone to different music and art styles. Our Partners: Toledo Museum of Art
  • WEEK 7 - Sylvania Hometown Session 1
    Sylvania Hometown Week - Session 1 • July 22 - July 26 Foster a sense of community with your preschooler! During the Sylvania Hometown - Session One, the children can experience our wonderful community firsthand. We’ve planned walking field trips to J&G Palace for pizza, Erin Ann’s Ice Cream, and Sylvan Studio.
  • WEEK 8 - Sylvania Hometown Session 2
    Sylvania Hometown Week - Session 2 • July 29 - August 2 During Sylvania Hometown - Session 2, preschoolers will travel back in time with an educational trip to the Sylvania Historical Museum. They will also be selecting a sweet treat after visiting Main Street Sweets. Visits from local police and firefighters will also take place.
